Warehouse Rollers are designed for use in warehouses and factories where any number of requirements may need to be met. As well as security, these shutters are often required to operate many times per day and meet fire or security regulations, all while opening as quickly as possible to let staff, and loading vehicles pass through. For this reason our Warehouse Roller Shutters are incredibly versatile products. All of these factors can make Warehouse Roller Shutters very resource intensive. They are often Large Shutters that require 3 Phase Direct Drive Motors to operate efficiently.
Industrial Roller Shutters are typically used for industrial applications that cover a broad number of industries and uses. Some Warehouses and Factories require Shutters simply for Security, whereas others may employ them to improve Thermal Efficiency in certain processing areas, or to Contain Dust or Potentially Harmful Substances. Our Insulated Steel Roller Shutters offer a U Value of approx. 3.3w/m²k over the complete curtain, this Double Skinned Insulated Shutter is the perfect answer to openings where Insulated Sectional Doors aren’t feasible.
The 95mm Double Skinned Shutter Lath can be Powder Coated to a wide range of British Standard or RAL Colours and can also have Vision Windows with Polycarbonate inserts in.
However, this can lower the Thermal Performance; they also offer an impressive 22dB Sound Reduction while still achieving a Class 5 Wind Rating.
Warehouse Shutters often use the Most Robust Motors you will typically find on a Roller Shutter, especially when duty cycles need to reach 3 figures. This means that 3 Phase Power is usually a requirement for an Industrial Strength Shutter.
With a range of control options, from Proximity Fobs, or Motion Sensors, which will allow them to Open Automatically from one or both sides depending on your needs, Key-switches, Rocker-switches or Mushroom Buttons, Remote Control with auto-timed closing option and Laser Photocell Beams. Also available Hand Chain Operated Steel Shutters on Loading Bay Doors of Warehouses, or on Bay Areas that are used less frequently.
